To provide ongoing education, research and clinical support to all critical care staff and students both undergraduate and postgraduate that work in the unit. Strong emphasis in supporting graduate nurses that rotate through the unit as part of the Transitional nurse program.
Develop and maintain clinical competency programs for all level of staff.
Establish strong links with tertiary providers as a way of recruitment.
